Korean Fever
31 August 2006

I was down with fever and flu. I was indoor whole day watching Korean VCD series My Lovely Sam Soon. It was another lovey dovey drama series.
Here how the story goes....
Sam Soon is a 29 year old lady, who is ever energetic. She used to be a basketball player in high school. She will eat, drink and sleep whenever she is stressed. One day, she met an irritating man who happened to be her boss at Bon Appetit. She never liked him since then and swore she will never fall for him. However, this amusing pair turns out to be the one for each other eventually.

From the story, I learnt about love. Life is like a box of chocolates. Love is also Childish bynature...

"Love like you have never been hurt....
Dance like no one is watching...
Love like you have never been hurt...
Sing like nobody listening...
Work like you do not need money...
Live like you are on Heaven on Earth.... "

Oh ya, I've not been receiving calls from my best colleague since I'm back from my trip. I just hope he had wonderful week ahead. Kinda of missing him too... Take care my best colleague... Till we meet again....
Always remember to Live Your Day to the Fullest Everyday.... c'',?

3D 2N GETAWAY BIRTHDAY TRIP
DAY 1 - 26 AUGUST 2006

Finally its time for me to de-stress myself after hard day of work. As usual I will choose Island Resorts instead of Shopping Spree Trip. This time I chose Holiday Inn Batam as my pit stop. Its placed for rest and relaxation. It took me longed time to consider this resort, cause my intention was to Batam View Beach Resort, however the hotel rooms were fully booked. Since its good bargain too, I just grab it without hesitation.

DINNER AT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

For dinner, I decided to go for seafood instead. The nearest Seafood Restaurant from Holiday Inn will be at Nagoya. It can held capacity for more than a thousand diners and ample parking space. Succulent Seafood expertly prepared by experienced chefs. Relaxing surroundings, cooling sea breeze and beautiful scenery, the best place to enjoy perfectly served meals.

Business Hours: Open Daily From 9.30am to 11.30pm
Don't Missed it...!!!! Tried it...!!!!

Back to hotel I went for another drink....

DAY 2 - 27 AUGUST 2006

Breakfast at 7am, at Terrace Cafe. It was buffet breakfast. I had 02 x Chicken Sausages + Baked Beans + Sauteed Potato + Scrambled Egg + Milk. Hey! Not only that, they do serve local cuisine from Mee Soto, Nasi Lemak, Gado-Gado and loads more... Woohhh talked about food made me drools..... Yummm.... Yummmmm....

Before returning to my room, I checked with the frontdesk personnel if there any shuttle bus to town or any outdoor event. I'm glad they actually provided shuttle service to and fro for $6/pax to Mega Mall. Well at least it gave me the chance to be out from the hotel... I made the payment and proceeded back to room. The shuttle service only available at 11am and 2pm.
While waiting in the room, I heard children laughters. Without hesitation, I looked down the service balcony and saw kids running around and swimming in the pool and slide down the helter skelter. I realises that without the kids laughters and cries the placed will be very quiet... Its for family relaxation and also as individuals. For those who loved quietness and relaxation, you may also tried their SPA and massage too... They come in
different packages... You may want to cycle, drive the go kart or even para-sailing.... Its pretty interesting and exciting....

At 11am, I joined the rest of hotel guests to town. Guess who I saw at the frontdesk counter. Its no other than my former colleague, Kenneth Chong. He attending seminar and presently he is with Radiance Communications as Asst Director, Sales. We just had short conversation caused he about to leave the premise. Their company held seminar 3D 2N Seminar from 25 August - 27 August 2006. However, I'm glad to meet him. When I arrived yesterday, I went to Piano Lounge to had couple of drinks while waiting for the keys to check in, I saw someone familiar... Guess my assumption was right then... Ha Ha Ha... Such a small world.....!!!! He gave me his name card to stay in touch.

I board the shuttle service bus to town with other hotel guests. I'm glad I met another friendly Singaporean, an Eurasian couple, Vincent and Lucy. We had great conversation in the bus. We then alighted at the Pintu Timur (East Gate) of Mega Mall. With no intention of shopping, I ended up bought a Billa Bong Bag... Gosh... This not me... .Nooooo Shopppinggggg Spreee....... Arrrggghhhhhh.... Ha Ha Ha....

After tired of window shopping, I ended up at Cafe Exfresco for a drink cause I'm too full to had anything for lunch...

I had Iced Blended Mocha + Banana Split.... MMmmmmm.......

When arrived the hotel, I bid goodbye both to Vincent and Lucy. They even invited me to join them at the Karaoke Lounge after Dinner. If possible to meet up with them again around 8pm-9pm.

Dear Vincent and Lucy
I apologised for unab le to join you folks for karaoke session. Thank you so much for your invitation and hospitality. It made me feel liked home.... However, its pleasure to know you folks... Till we meet again...

Take care....

DAY 3 - 28 AUGUST 2006

Alarm shows 0700hr... I can still laze around. After sometime, I realises that my departure time was at 0820hr and have to be at reception counter by 0800hr.... Ohhhh gossshhhhh... What a mistake I've done.... Take a quick bath then check out first. Guess what next I was told that in 20 min be back at reception counter. Bus will shuttle me to ferry terminal...

Again I had to take quick bite. Just helped myself with 02 x french toast and minced meat + a glass of milk..... I hate eating in a hurry. I unable to enjoy the meal at all.... SuxXx.... When reached the ferry terminal, I was the first one to be there... just like another kiasu Singaporean. But I'm not kiasu cause I do not want to miss the ferry. If I do, my next departure time available was at 1635hr. YOU know long will that be.... Good gracious the immigration not opened yet.... The gate opened only at 0815hr.

The moment I'm the ferry I'm relieved. I'll be backed home sOon... Once I reached home.... Take a quick shower and off to dreamland... ZzzZzzzz..... I woke up then start to scribble my most memorable moments I had. The memoirs which I will cherished forever and ever....
with this I end with motto...
i.e. 5R ....
R = RYNNE, R = REST, R = RELAX, R = REJUVENATING , R = ROARRRRR....

MY ISLAND HOME
This is my home
She's everything to me
Grace and beauty
In all that you see
My island home
Wherever I may be
I never will forget her
Nor will she forget me
Chorus ***
And I will sing
A song of home
A land of peace
Where dreams are born everyday
My home
Wherever I may be
I believe
You will always be a part of me
My island home
Home of my family
This is my future
Where I want to be
(This is my future This is my home)
Repeat Chorus x 2
My home
Wherever I may be
I believe
You will always be a part of me
A part of me
