It was a sea of red and white at the Padang as Young NTUC, part of Singapore's Labour movement, attempted to break another record by creating the largest human Singapore flag.
This year, more than 12,200 people took part, about 4,000 more than those who made the attempt last year.
We formed the human flag twice - once in the day and once at night with the first one timed to coincide with the State Flag flypast.

Even though it is raining, it does not kill our spirit to be part of the National Day celebration.
We put on our red poncho and looked like trash bags… Hahaha
