You have formed People's Action Party (PAP) in 1954 and gained Singapore independence on 9 Aug 1965. You have transformed Singapore from a small fishing village to a World Class country. Your far-sighted vision and mission has changed Singapore. Singapore will not be where it is today. No one believe or expect a red dot can achieve World Class status. You make the impossible, possible. You prove to the WORLD that nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. It was under your leadership, dedication and perseverence, Singapore has arrived this far. I am proud to be a Singaporean.
I know it will be different when you are gone. We have been celebrating the nation's birthday together with you and the Party. This year it will be different. We will celebrating it with full of emotions as we lost our Founding Father. Now you are gone. We mourn but you live on our heart. My family and I offer our profound condolences to our PM Lee and his family.
We thank you, Sir for all your contributions to the nation. May your soul rest in peace, Sir.
