A Singaporean female is among two people killed in an earthquake that hit Malaysia's Sabah state, say police.
SINGAPORE: Malaysian police on Saturday (Jun 6) confirmed a female Singaporean was killed in an earthquake in Sabah state.
According to the police, a mountain guide also died in the 5.9-magnitude temblor which struck on Friday morning.
Ten Singaporeans - eight of them 12-year-olds, were reported to be uncontactable following the quake. They are part of a group of 29 students and teachers from Tanjong Katong Primary School who are in Sabah on an excursion to Mount Kinabalu.
