#Wonderful Indonesia: Living Asia & Spa Resort, Lombok, Senggigi Beach - Day 3 (Pt. II)

Sightseeing 5:
Selong Belanak Beach is one of the most prestigious beaches in Lombok, especially when we are talking about the beauty and cleanliness of the beach. One of the best things about this beach is the shape of the shore that looks like a crescent. The beach is having a curvy shape with hills on each point. This beach is the part of Selong Belanak Bay that faces Indian Ocean.

There are about 40 families who work as fishermen there. Of course, the area is not recommended for swimming because there are so many fishing boats rest there. If you want to do water sport, it is recommended to do the activities from the central to the north side of the beach. The area is free from local people’s activities. Local and international tourists are able to use the area for beach and water activities. Selong Belanak Beach has the glittering soft white sand and sloping contour. The wave is not so high and the water is perfectly clean.

Look, there are surfers too... Awesome to the max.

Sightseeing 6:
Kuta (also pronounce as Ku-te) is a coastal town in south of the island of Lombok in Indonesia. The Kuta Beach has a wide variety of accommodations and restaurants, ranging from backpacker offerings to a four star resort for more wealthy travelers. Many people come to Kuta just to unwind, lie on the beach, rent a motorcycle to look around, or to just relax by reading a book or taking a nap in the afternoon.

Panaromic view from the cliff.
The hotel representative stop the vehicle just to allow me took the picture.

Most of Kuta retains its sleepy, natural character as a typical fishing village. The local people live in housing clusters (called kampungs) and are largely unaffected by tourist activity. Travellers can walk along dirt roads and see the villagers going about their normal daily activities. Food is usually cooked over a wood fire and the children live a carefree life of playing on the beach and climbing trees. Most people are exceptionally friendly to foreigners.

View from the ground level. Do you notice the different shades?

The sand are not the fine type but it look more like small beads
I left my footprint at Kuta Beach, Lombok.

I can't stop posing and do not want to leave the beach.
